Kings and Queens

Once everything was going well
there was a feast at Cair Paravel
With music and dancing and rejoicing
And the Narnians saw me as a queen!
I hope that I can be a good ruler,
and I can’t wait to find out what’s in my future.

Aslan Lives to save to day

Now that Aslan is alive we surely can win the battle
But he wants to stop by the witches house which is full of stone cattle
Many other creatures are found all made of stone
But Aslan had a plan to save them and his true power was shown
All the creatures were restored and asked to help defeat the evil queen
When we arrive on the battle field, Aslan roared and made quite a scene
He killed the wicked witch just before Peter struck her
Now that she is dead in Narnia won’t be left in such a blur.

Miracle

The deepest sadness and trembling shame
Any inkling of life no longer remains
I cried until I could cry no more
Still, I couldn’t erase the horror
Hours seemed to go by in this dead calm
Susan and I mourned until the dawn
Then, suddenly, an enormous “CRACK”
The table was broken and Aslan was back!
His fur, like gold, shiny and bright
And once again my life had light.

Death of Aslan

The most horrifying thing we saw which lead us to dread
Our beloved Aslan on the stone table lay there dead
He was beaten, bruised and mocked
And dragged as if a piece of live stock
Now what to do we do not know
For the witch’s wand can kill with one single blow

Deep Magic

Edmund was brought back to camp last night
I was so happy he was alright
Then the Witch talked to Aslan
About Deep Magic—her evil plan.
I dare say I shed a tear
but Aslan always shows no fear

Near Death Experience

Now that we are with Aslan we thought we were safe and sound
However we were mistaken when we were attacked by a great hound
A wolf chased and tried to bite off our legs
With Lucy’s horn she blew to sound for help to come quickly
Sooner then later Peter showed up his sward swinging swiftly
He killed the wolf and his courage was found
Shouting and cheering but when Aslan approached there wasn’t a single sound
He appointed Peter to be a leader of command
Now his bravery would surely be on demand

Santa does exist

We had been on the run for some time thinking we were safe
Just then Mr. Beaver told us to quickly hide in a cave
Bells jingled and in silence we lay quick
But to our surprise it was in fact old Saint Nick
He gave us many presents of war
But for me healing was the purpose core

Dinner with Beavers

Dining with talking beavers to me still seems a bit farfetched
But, as I think of all the fantasy books I have read it’s not much a stretch
We learned of Aslan, the prophecy and the stone table
However, to fulfill the prophecy Peter doubted himself to be able
Just when we thought things couldn’t create more confusion
Edmond had gone to the white witch, leaving us only in disillusion

Mr. and Mrs. Beaver

While a nice beaver led us to his dam
he mentioned the name Aslan
It made me think of the holidays
And waking up to summer’s rays
Then we had a delightful supper
that completely satisfied my hunger

Mr. Tumnus Kidnapped

It’s fun to be able to say “I told you so”
I lead my siblings to Mr. Tumnus’ home in the old willow
Yet, we discovered he was arrested for reasons that made me twitch
For it was she, the one Mr. Tumnus warned me about, it was the white witch

Horrid Brother

Edmund is NASTY and MEAN
What makes him so special and supreme?
He told Susan and Peter we were playing pretend
That kind of lie I cannot mend!

The second Witness

I returned to the wardrobe again and met with Mr. Tumnus once more
When I ventured home I discovered I was not alone in coming through that magical door
My older brother Edmund had wondered through the wardrobe soon after me
Excited I was for now I had a witness and surely the truth others would soon see

Second Thoughts

I was simply amazed when I returned
that none of my siblings were concerned
I told them of the witch and tea
But they all just made fun of me
So later when we played hide and seek
I thought that I would take a peek
Because even I began to wonder. . .
But it’s true! Narnia is as real as thunder!

Tea with Tumnus

A little creature asked me if I was a daughter of eve
I replied shaking my head that my parents were Sarah and Steve
We conversed briefly before he invited me tea
I told him I would have think and see
After a slight moment of ponder I accepted his invitation
When we arrived he offered me tea and even a music rendition
I soon fell asleep and shortly awoke in confusion
For Mr. Tumnus was crying and began his confession
I was shocked and scared, but Mr. Tumnus insisted that I return home
I don’t know if I’ll be able to speak with him again for here exists not even a phone.

The Wardrobe

Since it was a stormy morning
We all decided to go exploring
It’s the biggest house I’ve ever seen!
With long passages of doors and rooms hung with green
We went into an empty room
Where no one else wanted to loom
But through the wardrobe I walked on
and entered a forest and startled a Faun.
